TEEN EXPLORATION CLUB
12 Sessions: July 7th - August 13th 2026
Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30PM - 5:30PM (New time)
For teens going into 7th to 11th grade

Our Teen Exploration Club is in it's 5th year expanding our adventures with our older students, going farther on our bikes, learning more advanced outdoor skills, having more freedom on our kayaks/canoes, and continuing to allow our teens to challenge themselves in the ways they would like!

What we do:
During our club, we spend our time outside. We will be traveling around the town or the greater Assunpink Wildlife area via hiking trails, our bikes, or on kayaks/canoes, but no matter what we will be moving around and challenging ourselves in a variety of ways. We change locations every session to keep our teens (and counselors) inspired and excited for whatever adventure comes next! Our activities consist of Bike Rides, Trail Walks, Kayak Explorations, Outdoor Skill Development, Leadership Skills, Creative Arts, Community Education, Teambuilding Challenges, and Traditional Camp Games led by experienced counselors from your community.

This year, we are hoping to plan some excursions to some new parks and wilderness areas, as well as an overnight camping event for interested families!

What is suggested pricing?
When we started building our camp community, one of the most important things was being able to continue to expand our activities and opportunities for the kids of our community, while making sure that no camper, teen, or family will ever be left behind due to financial concerns. For that reason, we run on the suggested pricing model. Over the last 3 years, we have also partnered with the Tulloss Foundation, in memory of adventurous Roosevelt resident Sarah Tulloss, which has been generous enough to support our cause. Our suggested weekly cost is listed above, but fo any family who is iin need to inquire about our discounts/scholarships. Over the last 3 years we have been able to distribute over $10,000 in discounts and scholarships to families.

If you are in need of our scholarships/discounts, it is important you communicate that before the camp season starts. Just note on your registration form notes that is something you are interested in, and in your invoice we will usually be able to give you options discounts available for your family to choose from, no strings attached. If more discounts are necessary for your family to be comfortable, we will always work to find a solution to get your camper(s) or teen(s) outside adventuring with us.
